When I first started Lashgro, I thought I was creating a lash serum. Looking back now, I realise I was actually searching for something much bigger. I was searching for a way to feel like myself again.

Like so many women, becoming a mum changed everything. My priorities shifted, my days became busier, and somewhere between caring for everyone else and trying to keep up with life, I stopped making time for myself. Not because I didn't want to, but because there simply wasn't enough time.

I remember looking in the mirror one morning and thinking, When did I stop recognising this version of me? It wasn't about wanting to look younger or more glamorous. It was about missing the feeling of confidence that came from taking just a few moments for myself. That's where the idea for Lashgro began. Not from a business plan, not from spotting a gap in the market, but from a very personal feeling that I know so many women understand.

Over the past four years, Lashgro has grown in ways I never imagined. We've celebrated incredible milestones, partnered with amazing people and brands, and watched thousands of women become part of our community. While those moments are incredibly special, they're not what I'm most proud of.

What I'm most proud of are the messages I receive every week...

The woman who says she finally feels confident leaving the house without lash extensions.

The busy mum who tells me her morning routine now includes five minutes just for herself.

The customer who says using Lashgro helped her rebuild a little confidence after a difficult season in life.

Those are the moments that remind me why this brand exists, because Lashgro has never really been about lashes. It's about creating small rituals that remind us we're worth looking after, even on the busiest days.

I've also learnt something personally through this journey. For years, I believed confidence came after everything else was done. After the work was finished, after the house was clean, after everyone else had what they needed. Now I know confidence starts much earlier than that. It starts the moment we choose ourselves, even if it's only for five minutes.

That could be a cup of coffee before the house wakes up, a quiet skincare routine, brushing your brows, applying your favourite mascara, taking a deep breath before the day begins. Those moments might seem small, but they have a way of changing how we carry ourselves for the rest of the day.

If there's one thing I hope Lashgro represents, it's this:

You don't need perfection to feel beautiful.

You don't need an hour long routine.

You don't need to become someone else.

You simply deserve products (and moments) that fit into your real life and help you feel like yourself again. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Whether you've been here from the beginning or you've only just discovered Lashgro, thank you for believing in what we're building together.

My hope is that every time you use Lashgro, it serves as a gentle reminder to take those few minutes for yourself, because confidence doesn't have to be complicated, and sometimes, the smallest rituals end up changing everything.
